Born in 1941, Billie Mohair was a founding member of the Denton Women's Interracial Fellowship (DWIF) in 1964. She attended and graduated from Fred Moore High School as class valedictorian, attended North Texas State University (now UNT) and began working for the University in 1969, retiring some 30 years later.
